Product Function

PET Infrared Insulation Color Masterbatch

PET infrared insulation masterbatch is a functional masterbatch mainly used to enhance the insulation performance of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) materials.

Thermal Insulation Performance

  • Infrared blocking: PET infrared insulation colorants can effectively absorb or reflect infrared radiation in the 780nm to 2500nm wavelength range by adding nanoscale rare metal oxide powders, such as tungsten vanadium tin antimony oxide (cesium tungsten bronze), thereby reducing heat transfer.

Energy saving effect: When applied to products such as window films and sun panels, it can reduce indoor temperature fluctuations, lower energy consumption of air conditioning and other refrigeration equipment, and achieve energy conservation.

Optical Performance

  • High transparency: While maintaining high thermal insulation performance, the material made of PET infrared insulation masterbatch can still maintain good transparency, with a visible light transmittance of over 70%, ensuring sufficient natural light indoors.
  • Low haze: Made of PC insulation products with a haze value below 0.5 and high clarity.

Weather-resistant

  • Chemical stability: Using pure inorganic metal oxides as active ingredients, it has excellent weather resistance and chemical stability, is not easy to fade, has no performance degradation, and can maintain thermal insulation effect for a long time.

Other Performance

  • Easy to process: PET infrared insulation colorants can be mixed with ordinary PET slices without changing the original processing technology, and have good dispersibility and compatibility.

Widely used: Suitable for producing insulation window film, agricultural greenhouse film, solar backsheet film and other products, improving their insulation and energy-saving performance.

PET infrared insulation masterbatch provides excellent insulation effect for PET materials through its efficient infrared blocking ability and good optical and weather resistance, and is widely used in fields such as construction, agriculture, and energy.
