Product Function

Photostable Color Masterbatch

Light stabilized masterbatch is mainly used to improve the anti-aging performance of polymer materials (such as plastics, rubber, coatings, synthetic fibers, etc.) and extend their service life.

UV Protection

  • Absorption of ultraviolet rays: Contains ultraviolet absorbers that can effectively absorb ultraviolet rays with wavelengths of 290-410nm, convert them into harmless thermal energy, and prevent materials from undergoing photooxidation reactions due to ultraviolet radiation.

Shielding UV rays: Some light stabilizers have a shielding effect, which can reflect or scatter UV rays, reduce the penetration of UV rays into materials, and protect the internal structure of materials

Antioxidation

  • Quenching excited state molecules: Quenching agents can accept the energy of molecules or functional groups excited by ultraviolet light in the material and release it in the form of heat, fluorescence, or phosphorescence, preventing these excited state molecules from triggering photooxidation reactions.

Capture free radicals: Free radical scavengers (such as hindered amine light stabilizers) can capture the free radicals generated during the photooxidation process, inhibit the chain reaction of free radicals, and prevent material degradation.

Thermal Stability

  • Thermal aging protection: The contained thermal stabilizer can inhibit the thermal oxidation reaction of materials during high-temperature processing or use, improve the thermal stability of materials, and prevent performance degradation caused by thermal aging.

Color and Gloss Protection

  • Preventing discoloration: Effectively preventing color changes in materials caused by ultraviolet radiation, maintaining the original color and appearance of the material.

Maintaining Gloss: Helps to maintain the glossiness of the material surface, prevent a decrease in gloss due to aging, and improve the aesthetics of the product.

Improve Weather Resistance

  • Long term protection: Provides long-term weather resistance, effectively protecting materials and extending their service life even under harsh environmental conditions.

Easy to Process

  • Good dispersibility: The light stabilizer exists in the form of masterbatch, which has good compatibility and dispersibility with polymer materials, making it easy to uniformly disperse during processing and improving production efficiency.

Light stable masterbatch protects polymer materials through various mechanisms, enabling them to have better stability and durability in outdoor or light environments.
